Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

These Terms of Service govern use of Budget Marketplace (the "app"), a personal finance tool that syncs bank transaction data into a Google Sheets spreadsheet on behalf of its user.

The app is a personal project, not a commercial service

Budget Marketplace is built, run, and maintained by a single developer for private household use. It is not offered for public sign-up, is provided with no guarantee of uptime, support, or continued availability, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Your responsibilities

Third-party services

The app relies on Plaid, Inc. for bank connectivity and Google APIs for Sheets/Drive access. Your use of the app is also subject to Plaid's and Google's own terms of service and privacy policies for the data they process on the app's behalf.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy of synced data, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including financial decisions made based on its data.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
